Mindful Caregiving:

Teaching the foundations of working with children to support whole wellness and mental health.

The curriculum aims to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to work with children in a mindful way, fostering mental health and overall wellness. By integrating mindfulness practices into the teaching environment, educators will be better prepared to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of their students.

Our modules include:

  1. Mindfulness as a Caregiver
  2. Understanding Child Development
  3. Social Emotional Learning
  4. Building the Toolbox
  5. Conflict Resolution
  6. TEAM Building

Throughout the curriculum, participants will engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and reflection exercises to deepen their understanding and application of mindfulness in the educational context. The goal is to empower teachers to create a nurturing and mindful learning environment that promotes the mental health and wellness of both educators and students.

I AM STRONG.
I AM SMART.
I AM KIND.

The Do Good Movement founder, Erin Stevenson, created this mantra to remind students, staff and communities of the power of self-belief. In December of 2023, Erin wanted to bring the first part of the mantra, "I am strong," into more homes by creating the first Do Good Movement children's yoga book. Throughout the pages of I am strong, Erin has been able to demonstrate yoga movements in beautiful artwork while providing the reminders to children of all the different ways and different things that makes each of us strong. This book is one example and tool that can be used in working with children to help with self-regulation. Visit Amazon to get a copy of I am strong today.
